Open Source Authorization

OptiScaler is completely open-source, released under the permissive MIT software license.

MIT License Rules

Permissible Modifications

Permission is hereby granted to copy, distribute, modify, merge, publish, sublicense, and sell copies of the OptiScaler software, provided that the copyright notices and MIT disclaimer statements are included in all derivative distributions.

No Warranty Disclaimer

As-Is Distribution Policy

The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Multiplayer Hooking Restrictions

Since OptiScaler hooks direct memory coordinates in active processes, it must be run with high caution.

Third-Party Software Warning

Multiplayer Ban Liability

By injecting proxy DLLs like dxgi.dll or d3d12.dll into game directories, third-party anti-cheat software (Easy Anti-Cheat, BattlEye, Vanguard, Ricochet) may flag the mod as an unauthorized memory manipulation script. We do not support or authorize multiplayer usage.

Safe Operation Guide

Offline & Single-Player Focus

It is strongly recommended to restrict OptiScaler usage exclusively to offline, single-player campaigns. Running this mod in multiplayer titles connected to secure networks is done at your own sole risk. The OptiScaler creators and maintainers are not responsible for any game bans, account lockouts, or damage to hardware.
